SAPS POLICE TRAINEE APPLICATION GUIDE (2025/2026)

To apply online, please visit the South African Police Service website: https://www.saps.gov.za

Then click on the “Careers” link to access the e-recruitment portal.

  1. Register an account on the SAPS website.
  2. Complete your profile information via the Profile User page.
  3. Log in to your SAPS account.
  4. On the home page, navigate to the SAPS Vacancies section.
  5. Find and select the relevant job post (e.g. TRAINEE2025/2026).
  6. Follow the multi-step application process to enter your personal details and submit your application.
