Johannesburg , South Africa’s national women’s football team, Banyana Banyana, received a warm and jubilant welcome upon landing at OR Tambo International Airport following their return from a major international campaign.
The team, who recently represented the country at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco, touched down to thunderous applause, singing, and celebrations from fans, family members, and football officials.
