Mbombela, 11 July 2025 — President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the official eulogy at the funeral of former Deputy President David Mabuza, set to take place on Saturday, 12 July 2025, at the Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga.
The late statesman, who passed away on 3 July at the age of 64, will be accorded a Category 2 State Funeral. The funeral proceedings will begin with a private burial ceremony in Barberton, Mabuza’s hometown, followed by a formal public service at the stadium.
