Quinton or “The Quintinizer” as affectionately known to his listeners’ co-hosts the afternoon drive (326 Thwii) with Conny Mashimbye from 07 April 2015, a change brought about by the station’s strategic 2015 line up plans. This after spending 3½ years on the mid-afternoon show (Dzumba Na Mina), a show that did a lot in show casing his presentation versatility. Dzumba Na Mina featured both traditional and religious shows that this presenter delivered to the markets with distinct manner, an element which left wondering where to place him.

The multitalented presenter did almost everything from reading news in 2004-2005 to presenting grave yard shows, had a stint at the afternoon drive back in 2006-2008 and from 2008-2010 co-hosting with Russel “N’wana N’wa Gee” Kwinika and Morris “Maningi wa ntamu” Sibuyi respectively. Quinton then went on to host the then top 20 show on Saturday mornings from 07h00 to 10h00. He also hosted a youth show called Vantshwa va hleva & Ta mbilu yanga on Sundays.

Quinton was born in Bungeni village under the Makhado municipality. Being the last child of 4 siblings raised by a single mother, Quinton knows very well what poverty is. His single mother worked mostly in farms as a labourer to feed and educate all 3 boys and a girl. He matriculated at Hluvuka High School where he was very active in the debating forum as well as the school SRC committee as the president. His love for radio started years ago when he created a make-shift studio in his small roundavel bedroom, where he used to imitate his idols like Big jam (James Shikwambana), Conny Mashimbye and Musa Mavunda to name but a few. Little did he know that he was crafting a career for himself.

When he heard about auditions for presenters at Munghana Lonene fm in 2003, he jumped at the opportunity and needless to say, his longest dream became a reality when he got a call up. When he is not at work he enjoys watching TV and his best show is soccer both local and international and he has a big love for horror movies.

What people do not know about him is that he is a renowned programmes director & outdoor events compeer.
