This is not an April fool joke. Exciting times are here!!! 2015 is indeed a very exciting year for Munghana Lonene fm. Milestone celebration; new look website, new and exciting line up and new transmitters to be launched soon, you have all the reasons to walk this journey with us. The 50th anniversary celebrations in February gave us a clear indication of how you as a listener (customer) love the brand. We are making a commitment to never disappoint you.

As we unveil this new look and exciting website, please do not abuse it, but rather use it as a tool to get in touch with the station.

Allow me to congratulate the following shows for making it as finalists of the MTN Radio Awards; Phaphama, Mina hi Mina and Afrika wa Vulavula. I am very positive that the station will once again bring something home having won in two successive years. Winners are not quitters and quitters never win and winning is not everything but the only thing. Winners will be announced at a glittering function to be held in Sandton on the 18th April.   

I know you have your own views on the new line up, but I appeal to all of you to support the current schedule and help us to take the station back to where it belongs.

For us, the 50th anniversary celebrations did not begin and end in February, but ongoing. There is a big wave of change coming, just watch the space.
