I welcome you to the second edition of station manager’s corner. Let me start off by thanking you our listener, our most important customer for heeding my call that we should not abuse the website, but rather use it as a tool to communicate with the station’s management. The station cannot exist without you. Your comments about the recently launched line up have been noted, I would however like to make an appeal to all our listeners to give this line up a chance. It is true that in every action there is a reaction.  

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate one of our veteran presenters, Morgan Shibambu for scooping an MTN Radio Award. Morgan is like an old wine, the older it becomes, the more it matures. Young presenters on the station continue to learn from veterans like Morgan. Well done xivambula makhutla.

May is Africa month and let me remind all our listeners that we are Africans before we are South Africans. Let us continue to show love to our brothers and sisters from the African continent. Let us not disappoint Marcus Garvey, Nelson Mandela, Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba, Thomas Sankara, Oliver Tambo, Eduardo Mondlane, Samora Machel and all other leaders who fought very hard for the liberation of all Africans. As we celebrate Africa month, Munghana Lonene fm says “No to Xenophobia”. Let us make 2015 Africa Day a very special one.
